In 1973, the Louis Cartier Collection was released. This collection included 12 remarkable designs such as the Tank Louis, the Santos-Dumont and the Baignoire, of which variations continue to be produced today under similar design language.
Other examples from this collection, such as the Fabergé, are no longer produced. This design has has a tonneau shape and cleverly hidden lugs while retaining the iconic design language of Cartier: blue cabuchon, épée hands, and roman numerals. Powered by the reliable Cartier Calibre 78-1, this 18k gold piece has been checked by a horlogist in Toronto and is running well.
